Although we do our best to help locally, ocassionally we reach back to people in the US to help as well and have found how us having a hotel can find cures, directly help people etc and this is one Charity Cathy and I really respect and know several people it heps.

 Dear Bill and Cathy Carroll,

 On behalf of the event committee and Chair Rich Maloney, the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation thanks you for participating in the 2^nd Annual Links to a Cure Golf Tournament at Olde Scotland Links Golf Course on Friday, July 16^th, 2010.  Your donation of a one-week vacation in Costa Rica, valued at $400,  supports the Reeve Foundation’s mission to cure spinal cord injury by funding innovative research and improving quality of life through grants, information, and advocacy. 

 This year the event grossed over $20,000, a wonderful increase over last year’s inaugural tournament.  This would not be possible without the generosity of you, our golfers, prize donors, and hole sponsors, as well as our incredible presenting sponsors John Hancock Life Insurance, Coldwell Banker, and State Street Corporation. 

 Rich and all of our community members and volunteers inspire us each day to carry forth the vision of Christopher and Dana.  Together we are advancing the scientific research and quality of life programs that encompass our commitment to Today’s Cure, Tomorrow’s Cure.  Thank you again for your support!
