Breakfast
A full breakfast of omelets, fruits, granola, yogurt, toast/jam, and organic coffee or tea is included for our guests in the bungalow without a kitchen. The house and equipped bungalow have fully equipped kitchens or breakfast can be ordered for an additional $5 per person (discounts available for multiple breakfasts) We can also prepare light breakfasts, eggs served any style, Gallo Pinto, French Toast etc…Just let us know what you like and we’ll make it happen.
Lunch
With a little advance in the morning we can whip up a wide variety of lunches ranging from sandwiches, salads and snack plates to Cathy’s Anything But Tipico bowl that we eat most days for lunch, or picnics to bring on the kayaks or to the beach.
Dinner
We offer three dinner options for our guests.
First, there are a wide variety of restaurants available in the area. We've eaten at most of them, or have recent reports from guests so we'll give you an objective recommendation to suit your taste buds. There are several excellent restaurants serving Caribbean and international style seafood (Selvins, La Pailla Casera, Ranchito/Punta Uva, and Arecife) within walking distance of Pachamama, at very reasonable prices. If you'd like to go to one of the restaurants dotting the road between Punta Uva and Puerto Viejo, you can easily ride a bike, or we can hire a taxi to pick you up and take you to the restaurant of your choice and back to Pachamama when you are finished with dinner or an evening out. If you have your own transportation we'll point you in the right direction.
Second, we have a fridge in the bungalow without a kitchen and for those guests wishing to prepare their own meals in the bungalow we can provide a small stove and cooking supplies. We can have a wide-variety of grocery items delivered directly to Pachamama, or you can shop at the local stores and the farmer’s market.
Finally, we offer a full dinner including a variety of appetizers, main courses and side dishes using only the freshest, locally-produced items for a minimal cost. We also have a fine-tuned kid’s menu developed by our own kids. Soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages are included with dinner. Beer and wine are extra and priced according to your needs. Let us know by 10am the day you wish to have dinner so we can pick up the best ingredients and prepare you a wonderful meal. The candlelight dinner is served on your terrace, and we do the dishes!
